Patchy to areas of fog have developed across portions of the area this morning. In some locations, the fog will become locally dense and reduce visibility to one-quarter mile or less at times. These conditions may persist until shortly after sunrise. Slow down, use low beam headlights, and allow for extra distance between yourself and other motorists if encountering fog during the morning commute.

Patchy dense fog has formed across the area south of I-70. Some areas may see visibilities falling to one- quarter mile or less. Fog will last into the morning commute. Slow down, use low beam headlights, and keep extra distance between your vehicle and other vehicles. Fog will begin to dissipate by about 9 AM EDT this morning.

Pockets of dense fog have developed across parts of eastern Kentucky early this morning, with visibility reduced to below one-quarter mile in some locations. These conditions may persist until near or shortly after sunrise before the fog begins to lift or burn off.
