Areas of fog developed early this morning across Door and Kewaunee counties. The fog was locally dense in spots, as the Sturgeon Bay Airport recorded a visibility of 1/4 mile. If you have travel plans early this morning, be on alert for rapidly changing or poor visibilities as low as 1/4 mile or less in spots. Plan on extra time to reach your destination and allow extra room between you and the car in front of you. Visibilities should begin to improve towards sunrise as winds shift to the northwest and increase.

Clear skies, light winds, and lingering low-level moisture are helping areas of valley fog to develop and become dense early this morning. This fog will continue to expand through the night but likely remain the densest in the valleys. Visibilities will be below a quarter of a mile at times in the thickest of the fog. Areas of fog have developed across portions of the Tennessee Valley this morning, especially in river valleys and near lakes. Visibility will be less than one-quarter mile at times.
