Description:
* AFFECTED AREA...Delta Junction.
* TIMING...From 12 PM to 9 PM AKDT today, and 12 PM to 10 PM

* HUMIDITY...Minimum values between 20 and 25 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the upper 70s. Lows in the lower 50s.
* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are possible due to
a combination of low relative humidity, gusty winds from the
south, and dry fuels.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Today is expected to be the warmer day,
thus relative humidity values will be lower. However, winds are
expected to be stronger on Sunday. The one limitation to
critical fire weather conditions will be the influx of moisture
coming in from the south on Sunday. Critical fire weather
conditions will be minimal tonight through Sunday morning with
moderate overnight recovery expected. An update will be issued
by this evening if fire weather criteria are struggling to be
met.
