The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Fire Weather Watch below 8000 feet for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels, which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 205 Colorado River Headwaters below 8000 feet. * TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, from 1 PM to 8 PM MDT Monday. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning.
