At 331 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Shellman to 6 miles northeast of Marine Corps Logistics Base to 7 miles southeast of Norman Park. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tifton, Albany, Nashville, Dawson, Cuthbert, Ashburn, Sylvester, Leesburg, Adel, Sparks, Enigma, Omega, Shellman, Norman Park, Lenox, Poulan, Ty Ty, Alapaha, Smithville, and Phillipsburg.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
