Description: 
At 441 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms capable of producing funnel clouds along a line extending from near Magnolia to Wilmer. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...If a funnel cloud briefly touches down, minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Franklinton, Magnolia, Kentwood, Tylertown, Osyka, Salem, Dexter, Mount Herman, and Wilmer. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 65 and 66. Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 8.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
