Description:
At 541 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Gwinn, or 9 miles south of Ishpeming, moving east
at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
K. I. Sawyer Airport and Gwinn.
