Description:
At 527 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Kokomo to near Maxie.
Movement was northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Strong thunderstorms will be near...
Columbia, Lumberton, Baxterville, Pickwick, Rock Hill, Maxie, and
Pine Burr around 535 PM CDT.
Purvis and Brooklyn around 540 PM CDT.
Pine Ridge around 550 PM CDT.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
