River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Fabius River near Taylor. * WHEN...Until late Monday night. * IMPACTS...At 14.7 feet, Cornfield just south and downstream of the County Road 319 bridge at the gage begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM CDT Saturday was 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Monday evening. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
