For the James River...including Galena, Boaz...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...James River near Boaz. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Approximate level when Hootentown Access and Campground downstream of the gage floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Sunday was 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.5 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.6 feet on 05/04/2017. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
