For the James River...including Boaz...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...James River near Boaz. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Approximate level when Hootentown Access and Campground downstream of the gage floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:45 PM CDT Sunday was 13.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.0 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.0 feet on 06/13/2007. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
