...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING FOR LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS FOR THE EASTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AND WESTERN SANDHILLS... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 204 Eastern Panhandle/Crescent Lake NWR. * TIMING...For the warning today, through 9 PM MDT. For the watch Tuesday, Noon through 9 PM MDT. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph for both the warning through this evening, and the watch Tuesday. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent for both this afternoon and Tuesday. * TEMPERATURES...in the upper 70s this afternoon. Highs Tuesday in the upper 80s. * LIGHTNING...none expected. * IMPACTS...Any fire starts could spread rapidly and be difficult to control.
