Description:
At 422 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles northeast
of Gladstone, or 25 miles south of Des Moines, moving south at 20
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Mainly rural areas of West Central Union County.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
