Description: 
At 1037 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Weslaco, Donna, Mercedes, Progreso, Llano Grande, Estero Llano Grande State Park, Weslaco East High School, Black Elementary School, Knapp Medical Center, Isaac D. Rodriguez Park, Villa Verde, Weslaco Public Library, Harlon Block Sports Complex, Weslaco Fire Department Station Two, Progreso High School, Weslaco City Park, Weslaco City Hall, South Texas High School For Health Professions and Llano Grande Country Club.
