* WHAT...Flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following county, Kendall. * WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1037 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to earlier thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain had fallen. - Continue to heed road closures and monitor for any additional rise in local creeks and streams with lingering runoff. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Boerne, Fair Oaks Ranch, Sisterdale, Kreutzberg, Walnut Grove, Welfare, Waring, Nelson City, Kendalia, Bergheim, Guadalupe River State Park, Spring Branch and Crown. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
