* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southeastern Hidalgo County in deep south Texas... * WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1046 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Weslaco, San Juan, Alamo, Donna, Mercedes, Progreso, Edcouch, Midway North, Weslaco High School, Midway South, Donna High School, Alameda Park, Sam Houston Elementary School, Weslaco City Hall, Weslaco Fire Department Station Two, Weslaco Public Library, Harlon Block Sports Complex, Weslaco Border Patrol Station and Weslaco City Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
