* Until 230 PM CDT.
* At 1131 AM CDT, emergency management reported multiple floods
impassable due to flooding across rural Hancock, northwest
Harrison, and Pearl River Counties. Between 8 and 12 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 6 inches are
possible in the warned area. Life-threatening flash flooding is
already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
