* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Covington County in south central Alabama... Southeastern Escambia County in south central Alabama... Northern Okaloosa County in northwestern Florida... Northeastern Santa Rosa County in northwestern Florida... * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 557 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Florala, Laurel Hill, Lockhart, Falco, Wing, Beda, Good Hope, Escambia Farms, Bradley, Rock Creek, Parker Springs, Huckaville, Belandville, McLellan, Roberts, Sellersville and Stedman. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
