Description:
At 540 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that rain has ended over the
Billy Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain fell earlier
today. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Billy Fire scar.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Billy Fire scar.

Sierra Ancha Wilderness.
This includes State Route 288 between mile markers 276 and 286.
This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Rose Creek Campground, Rose Creek Campground and Elks Youth Camp.
Instruction:
This is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause
extensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches
in the Billy Fire scar. Severe debris flows can also be anticipated
across roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in places. If
you encounter flood waters...climb to safety.
