Description:
At 440 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Magma, or 10 miles north of Coolidge, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Florence, Queen Creek, Florence Junction, Magma, and San Tan Valley.
This includes the following highways...
US Highway 60 near mile marker 212.
AZ Route 79 between mile markers 132 and 150.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
