Description:
At 1238 AM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sedona, moving
north at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Sedona, Munds Park, Indian Gardens, Pine Flats, Fernow Cabin,
Uptown Sedona, Sedona Airport, Red Rock State Park, Slide Rock
State Park, Palatki Heritage Site, West Fork of Oak Creek, Honanki
Heritage Site, Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, Munds Mountain
Wilderness, Sycamore Canyon Wilderness, Edge of the World, East
Pocket Lookout Tower, Secret Mountain Vista and Oak Creek Vista
Overlook.

Interstate 17 between mile markers 321 and 328. State Route 179
between mile markers 308 and 313. State Route 89A between mile
markers 366 and 390.

Pumphouse Wash, Slide Rock, Encinoso, Grasshopper Point, Midgely
Bridge, Buddha Beach "Red Rock Crossing" and Crescent Moon Ranch.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
