* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Yavapai County in west central Arizona...
* Until 415 AM MST.
* At 345 AM MST, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southwest
of Escapees North Ranch, or 47 miles southwest of Prescott, moving
northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Congress, Yarnell, Escapees North Ranch, Peeples Valley, Hawkins,
Piedmont, Date and Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial State Park.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 93 between mile markers 173 and 190. State Route 71 between
mile markers 91 and 109. State Route 89 between mile markers 263 and
280.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
