At 444 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
El Mirage, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, El Mirage, Tolleson,
Youngtown, Sun City West, Sun City, Waddell, Litchfield Park,
Glendale Sports Complex, Luke AFB, Beardsley, Downtown Peoria,
Surprise Stadium, Arrowhead Mall, Downtown Glendale, and Camelback
Ranch.
This includes the following highways...
AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 135 and 138.
AZ Interstate 17 between mile markers 213 and 215.
US Highway 60 between mile markers 139 and 156.
