Description: 
At 901 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from 10 miles northwest of Bagwell to 6 miles southeast of Wilkerson, or extending from 17 miles northwest of Clarksville to 11 miles south of Boxelder, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Texarkana, Mount Pleasant, Atlanta, Wake Village, Ashdown, New Boston, Pittsburg, Clarksville, Horatio, Foreman, Boxelder, Hagansport, Idabel, Broken Bow, Nash, Hooks, Mount Vernon, Daingerfield and De Kalb.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
