Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of east central Florida, including the following
county, St. Lucie.
* WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is
occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 432 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Fort Pierce, Indrio, White City, Fort Pierce Inlet, Saint
Lucie Airport, Fort Pierce North, Lakewood Park, Fort Pierce
South, Saint Lucie Village, Queens Cove, Saint Lucie, Pepper
Beach Park, Fort Pierce Ocean Park, Surfside Park and
Frederick Douglass Park.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
