Description:
At 430 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Archer to near Williston.
Movement was east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
occurring.
Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, Archer, University Of Florida, Newberry, Micanopy, and
Flemington.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
