Description:
At 631 PM EDT/531 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of
Graceville to near Bonifay to 16 miles southeast of De Funiak Springs
to Santa Rosa Beach. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Panama City Beach, Vernon, Chipley, Graceville, Santa Rosa Beach, De
Funiak Springs, Bonifay, Marianna, Eglin Air Force Base, Bradford,
Live Oak, Malone, Freeport, Cottondale, Greenwood, Ponce De Leon,
Alford, Caryville, Wausau, and Westville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
