Description:
At 239 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Orange Park, moving north at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Orange Park, Mandarin, Fruit Cove, Arlington, Nas
Jax, Bellair-Meadowbrook Terrace, Ortega, Lakeside and Riverside.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
