Description:
At 435 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Nicholls to 6 miles west of Bristol.
Movement was east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
occurring.
Locations impacted include...
Patterson, Offerman, Dixie Union, and Bristol.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
