Description: 
At 720 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line extending from near Lake Marvin to near Trion, and moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to ground lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of light, unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Rome, Calhoun, Summerville, Adairsville, Trion, Resaca, Plainville, Shannon, Ranger, Pinson, Sonoraville, Oostanaula, Subligna, Tidings, Redbud, Armuchee, Lake Marvin, Sugar Valley, and Everett Springs.
Instruction: 
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for north central and northwestern Georgia.
