Description:
At 242 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Marine Corps Logistics Base, or 8 miles west of Sylvester. The strong
thunderstorm is nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Sylvester, Putney, Albany, Baconton, Poulan, East Albany, Marine
Corps Logistics Base, Turner City, Terrell, Sumner, Bridgeboro,
Radium Springs, Sylvester Airport, Tempy, Parkerville, Red Rock,
Acree, Lester, Pritchetts, and Crestwood.
Instruction:
