Description:
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Georgia, including the following
areas, Bulloch, Candler, Coastal Bryan, Coastal Chatham, Coastal
Liberty, Coastal McIntosh, Effingham, Evans, Inland Bryan, Inland
Chatham, Inland Liberty, Inland McIntosh, Jenkins, Long, Screven
and Tattnall and southeast South Carolina, including the following
areas, Allendale, Beaufort, Charleston, Coastal Colleton, Coastal
Jasper, Dorchester, Hampton, Inland Berkeley, Inland Colleton,
Inland Jasper and Tidal Berkeley.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Bands of heavy rainfall will spread across Southeast Georgia and
Southeast South Carolina throughout the day. Widespread rainfall
totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with locally higher amounts
of 3 to 6 inches possible. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per
hour will be possible within the heaviest rain bands.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
Be prepared to protect life and property, especially in areas prone
to flooding. If flooding develops, move to higher ground immediately.
