East central Clay County in south central Illinois... * Until 630 PM CDT. * At 552 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Sailor Springs, or 13 miles northeast of Flora, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Jasper, northern Richland and east central Clay Counties, including the following locations... Wakefield, Wendelin, Ingraham, Dundas, and West Liberty.
