Thorn Creek at Thornton affecting Cook County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Thorn Creek from Near Glenwood downstream to confluence with Little Calumet River, including the Thornton gauge. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, 187th Street threatened in Glenwood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
