.The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Spoon River at London Mills.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Minor flooding begins to agricultural land
near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 16.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 17.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling to 5.9 feet Tuesday, June
30.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
