Description: 
At 927 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Good Hope to near Fandon, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Macomb, Bushnell, Colchester, La Harpe, Blandinsville, Industry, Good Hope, Bardolph, Tennessee, Sciota, Western Illinois University, Adair, Fandon, New Philadelphia, Colmar, Plymouth, Pennington Point, Macomb Municipal Airport, Doddsville, and Scottsburg. This also includes Argyle Lake State Park.
Instruction: 
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for west central Illinois. A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small interior room. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
