Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following
county, Harrison and central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hancock, Hardin, Larue,
Meade and Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT /530 PM CDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. A portion of Boone Road in Elizabethtown was
reported closed due to high water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1235 PM EDT /1135 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5
and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elizabethtown, Shepherdsville, Tell City, Hodgenville,
Hardinsburg, Hawesville, Radcliff, Webster, Vine Grove and
Lebanon Junction.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
