* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northwest Indiana, including the following county, Porter. * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may be out of their banks. Flooding may be ongoing in poor drainage areas. Roads, streets, and underpasses may be flooded in some sections. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 550 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that the rain had ended across the advisory area. According to radar and automated gauges, up to 2 inches of rain fell. Recent traffic reports indicated lingering standing water on some roadways. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Portage, Valparaiso, Chesterton, Lakes of the Four Seasons, South Haven, Porter, Winfield, Burns Harbor, Ogden Dunes, Town of Pines, Beverly Shores, Wheeler, Dune Acres and Malden. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
