Description:
At 458 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fithian, or 13 miles west of Danville, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Covington, West Lebanon, Perrysville, State Line City, Foster, and
Gessie.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 1 and 12.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
west central Indiana.
