Description:
At 830 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Greencastle, or 26 miles northeast of Terre Haute, moving east at 25
mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Greencastle, Fillmore, Coatesville, Amo, Stilesville, Little Point,
Eminence, and Belle Union.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 43 and 53.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
central and west central Indiana.
