For the Smoky Hill River...including Schoenchen 2E, Arnold 12N... elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Smoky Hill River below Schoenchen 2E. * WHEN...From this morning to tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Expect minor overflows along the Smoky Hill River in the vicinity of Schoenchen, as lowland flooding of pasturelands initiates immediately adjacent to the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.4 feet this afternoon. - Action stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
