...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Kansas...
Arkansas River At Coolidge affecting Hamilton County.
For the Arkansas River...including Coolidge, Syracuse 1S, Garden
City, Dodge City...elevated river levels are forecast.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Arkansas River at Coolidge.
* WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Expect minor flooding in pastureland and
farmland adjacent to the river. Low water areas along the unpaved
River Road south of the Arkansas River will have water over the
road... Exercise extreme caution.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM MDT Saturday the stage was 6.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.0 feet
just after midnight tonight.
- Action stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
