Chikaskia River near Corbin affecting Sumner County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Chikaskia River near Corbin. * WHEN...From this afternoon to late Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Widespread flooding of low-lying areas and agricultural areas can be expected especially downstream. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:31 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 7.3 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 16.8 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
