...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Ninnescah River near Peck affecting Sedgwick and Sumner Counties. Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine affecting Sumner County. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Kansas... Ninnescah South Fork near Murdock affecting Kingman County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Three miles west of Belle Plaine near the gage site, a small section of K55 floods east of the bridge. Flood waters flow over Highway 81 starting at 1/2 mile north of K55 and spreading to 100th Avenue. The water on Highway 81 may be near 1.5 ft deep. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 24.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.0 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued early this morning at 315 AM CDT.
