Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and south central
Kansas, including the following counties, in central Kansas,
Marion. In east central Kansas, Chase. In south central Kansas,
Butler, Cowley, Harvey, Sedgwick and Sumner.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Scattered showers and storms will continue this morning and
will come to an end by the late morning hours. Some
additional flooding will still be possible.
Instruction:
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
