Description:
At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Georgetown Scott County Airport, or 6 miles east of Georgetown,
moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Paris, Cynthiana, Carlisle, Highlands, Millersburg,
North Middletown, Currentsville and Ruddels Mills.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
