Southwestern Powell County in east central Kentucky... * Until 200 PM EDT. * At 1151 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain moving back into the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen across the warned area since 6 AM. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area between 12 and 2 PM. This will result in flash flooding. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
