* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following counties, Clark, Garrard and Madison. * WHEN...Until 545 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 255 PM EDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Richmond, Redhouse, Hillcrest, Ford, Union City, Blue Grass, Jackson Ferry, Reeds Crossing, Lisletown and Olivers. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
