Description: 
At 223 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Doyline to 8 miles southeast of Arcadia, or extending from 8 miles west of Minden to 10 miles southwest of Grambling, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ruston, Minden, Grambling, Homer, Arcadia, Sibley, Gibsland, Doyline, Dubberly, Dixie Inn, Simsboro, Vienna, Evergreen, Athens, Lisbon, Bryceland, Mount Lebanon, Spring Lake, Aycock and Lake Clairborne.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
