...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Louisiana...Mississippi...
Bogue Chitto River Near Bush affecting St. Tammany Parish.
West Hobolochitto Creek Near McNeil affecting Pearl River County.
East Hobolochitto Creek Near Caesar affecting Pearl River County.
.Rivers are falling and expected to follow that general downward
trend in the coming days.
For the Bogue Chitto River...including Tylertown, Franklinton,
Bush...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the West Hobolochitto Creek...including McNeil...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
For the East Hobolochitto Creek...including Caesar...Minor flooding
is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Bogue Chitto River near Bush.
* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, The access road upstream of the bridge will
flood. The river will leave the main channel on the left bank below
the bridge flooding woodlands on either side of Louisiana Highway
21.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 11.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:15 PM CDT Friday was 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday morning and continue falling to 10.4 feet Wednesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.8
feet on 04/15/1969.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
